TSITSIKAMMA CANOPY TOURS

A first in Africa. Enjoy the unequaled beauty of the indigenous forest high up on ten treetop platforms. Gently glide along in a harness, on steel cables 30 meters above the forest floor. Birdlife is abundant (including Knysna Loeries and the elusive Narina Trojan), and your guides will explain the ecology of the lush primeval forest. Safety is paramount, and the system has been built to the highest civil engineering standards. Guides are fully-trained professionals. Departure times below:

WOODCUTTERS JOURNEY

Journey with us down the old Stormsriver Pass, and experience the indigenous forest from the comfort of a specially-designed vehicle. Follow the elephant trail, passing yellowwoods and stinkwoods, while hearing about the history of the area and the indigenous flora and fauna. Enjoy a delicious lunch or tea at a beautiful picnic site next to the Stormsriver, where wagons outspanned more than a century ago.

Departure times: Morning Tea: 08H30, Lunch 11H30, Afternoon Tea:14H30 Duration: 2½ to 3 hours.

Goesa Hiking Trail - 2km
Duration - +- 1 Hour

Route description:

Discover the secrets of the spectacular Tsitsikamma Indigenous forest. As you enter the forest you will encounter Hard Pear trees, Giant Yellow Woods and other interesting Forest Flora. Stand next to a giant Outeniqua Yellow wood and feel like a dwarf against this unique creation. You will encounter beautiful Tree Ferns hundreds of years old.
The walk starts and ends at the Stormsriver Adventure Centre in Storms River Village. For most of the way this short walk (2km) traverses through our five star forests.

Tariffs quoted subject to change. Prior notification of such price changes will be communicated in advance where possible.
Fixed quotations confirmed in writing will be honoured in the event of price changes. VAT is included in all prices.

CONDITION OF PAYMENT:

A 100% deposit or upfront credit card payment will confirm all bookings. No booking can be confirmed without the required proof of payment, credit card payment or bank cheque clearances, received.
Tour Operators only: Vouchers acceptable. Payment terms strictly 30 days from invoice.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Stormsriver Adventures reserves the right to claim the full fee should the Client/Operator fail to cancel the booking prior to arrival date or fail to arrive.

Stormsriver Adventures reserves the right to cancel any activity in the interest of safety! Clients/Operators will be refunded under such circumstances. No payment will be refunded should the client not complete the tour.

ADDITIONAL EXTRAS:

All extras not mentioned, for own account and should be settled before departure.

CONFIRMATION OF BOOKINGS AND FINAL NUMBERS:

Confirmation of bookings, final numbers and dietary requirements must be confirmed at least 48hrs in advance.
