Stormsriver Adventures is pleased to announce the findings of the 'Fair Trade' audit team following the Company's third re-audit, confirming certification.

The independent physical audit process is an extensive review of all aspects of the Company's Operations and is of a 'forensic' nature.

Stormsriver Adventures, Proudly South African ‘Company of the Year (SMME) 2007’ recently received the Imvelo Award for Responsible Tourism and was judged ‘winner’ for ‘Best Practice – Economic Impact’, by the panel of Judges.

The Imvelo Awards recognize Tourism Businesses who have committed themselves to Responsible Tourism Principles.

Appointment of the Board of Directors of Stormsriver Adventures Pty Ltd was announced last week by Ashley Wentworth, founder of the company.

Wentworth stated that “since 1998 the company has driven transformation, and has achieved many milestones which include the recruitment, training and development of members of the communities and introducing them to the Eco-Adventure Industry.”

Stormsriver Adventures PTY LTD took top honours at the annual Proudly South African Awards Gala Dinner, held in Johannesburg on the 24th of May 2007.

The “Company of the Year Award” SMME was presented to C.E.O., Ashley Wentworth and Admin Director Ms Reginah N Majola at this prestigious event which was attended by Deputy President, Ms Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, DTI Deputy Minster, Elizabeth Thabethe and many other captains of industry.

On April 17th you and your team helped to manifest one of my "dreams to do before I die"! Sometimes achieving what seems 'impossible' is so simple to attain. In spite of all apparent obstacle's the Canopy Tour Team not only cleared the way but also provided excellent service laced with magical fun.

Stormsriver Adventures celebrated its 5th year of operation of the world renowned Tsitsikamma Canopy Tour on the 7th of October.

The staff entertained and hosted their families to a day of fun on Saturday the 7th, giving guides the opportunity to take their parents on the Canopy Tour.
